Then as soon as we get home we cut about an inch off the bottom and put the tree in water. We check the water every day to keep it fresh and sometimes add 7-up to the tree water. {apparently it is supposed to help keep it flame retardant}. All this seems to work great! Even today {December 15th, I can still smell the tree when I walk in the house, it smells so fresh!}Robin {keephomesimple}https://www.blogger.com/profile/18227344794341156702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086610943762477356.post-12459709040503063572010-12-12T13:44:53.310-08:002010-12-12T13:44:53.310-08:00Do you have any tips on how to keep your Christmas...Do you have any tips on how to keep your Christmas tree as freshas can be expected -- you buy it super early in the season?! ;) thanks!shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03290581200852059562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2086610943762477356.post-53717496347345524532010-12-01T14:11:12.776-08:002010-12-01T14:11:12.776-08:00Traditions are so important.
