Life is good.
However, I think my biggest trial right now is finding balance.
AND trying not to feel overwhelmed with everything that is being asked of me and everything I expect from myself.
{Which if you ask my husband, he says is always TOO much, but I disagree! LOL!}
Tomorrow night, I've been asked to teach a class on couponing.
It's for a large group of women at my church.
I'm really nervous...but excited to share what I know.
This afternoon I've been putting together a little magnetic handout to give to each women so she can remember some of the amazing coupon websites I'll be talking about.
Take a look...
{These sites offer great advice/coupons for stretching the old buck-a-roo!}
On another note, have you experienced back to school shopping yet?
It's SO much fun! I love stocking up on school supplies!
I was going to wait until the end of the month to get started, but I'm glad I didn't.
I went to Walmart and Target this morning and both stores were already out of certain items!
{Hopefully they'll be restocking soon!}
{supplies my children are required to bring on their first day back to school}
When this long day is over and all my children are in bed, I want to watch You've Got Mail and dream about Fall...
"Don't you love New York in the Fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly-sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address." -Kathleen Kelly in You've Got Mail
I heart school supplies. I buy them, and I'm not a student anymore. haha They are so useful though. Luckily I get to wait until after school starts and get all the great sales!
ReplyDeleteTry not to stress! It's obviously easier said than done but it looks like you've done a fabulous job getting organized.
ReplyDeleteI love school supplies. I love getting pens and fun notebooks. Too bad I'm gonna be 29 and my babe is only 10 months. I won't be doing that for a while....I just try to order fun office supplies at work!!!
Good luck with your class!
Thanks Nikki! You're a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteOh Robin... I have a sneaking feeling we are going to become great friend once I get moved out your way. :) Remie is constantly telling me I am too hard on myself and 99% of the pressure I am feeling I am putting on myself. Sounds like you do the same thing!!
ReplyDeleteI ADORE "You've Got Mail"...I'm ready for Fall as well. I'm ready for crisp mornings, walking my kiddos to school, baking and having the house smell warm and yummy when it's NOT 100 degrees outside... Just like I love decorating for Christmas while watching "Sleepless In Seattle"...
I'm wanting to go and watch "Eat, Pray, Love" .. if you're interested in seeing it at all let me know! It's hard to sneak away but maybe a matinee on the boys days off or an early evening one after kiddos go to bed but not too terribly late?
GOOD LUCK on your couponing class...I'm jealous! Jaimie Littrell has given me great pointers here and there but I am still learning.. love it!
Kelly,
ReplyDeleteA matinee sounds great! And if you ever need any tips on couponing, just let me know. I'd be happy to share! Hope everything falls right into place for your move over here in this neck of the woods! It will be fun having you guys around!
~Robin
Robin,
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job on this! Thanks!
